Role Overview:

Position: Staff Accountant
Location: Covington, Louisiana
Type: Full-Time

How Will You Contribute:

Conduct thorough tax research and support tax planning initiatives.
Manage client information using QuickBooks® Online and other accounting software.
Perform bank reconciliations, A/P & A/R for multiple clients across various industries.
Process payroll and payroll tax returns and prepare sales tax returns.
Prepare, analyze, and understand accrual financial statements including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements.

What We'll Like About You:

Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks® Online & Desktop, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.
Experience: Familiarity with Ultra Tax software and corporate tax preparation is a plus. Public Accounting experience preferred.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of GAAP and financial concepts.
Personality: Detail-oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Mindset: Technology-driven and forward-thinking, with a willingness to learn and embrace emerging technologies.
